We did! It's one of my favorite celebrations.
Now, back to normal, working on more Christmas cards.
I used the Freshly Made Sketches # 114 for this one
And I used an old Seize the Sketch for this one
I'm still behind in my Christmas list, but I'm happy I could make all these today.
Have a blessed weekend.

That last card is so cute. Is that sentiment inlayed?
ReplyDeleteThank you Wida! Yes, the sentiment is inlayed. Love your work and always visit you blog. I appreciate your visit.
DeleteSuch pretty cards! I especially like your gorgeous poinsettia!
ReplyDeleteLoly, thank you so much for your kind words on my blog. To make my topper, I started with a 5x3 piece of cardstock. I then used the red blade of my Creative Memories cutting system to cut an oval in the middle of the cardstock. Keeping the oval frame in the exact same position, I used the blue blade to cut a half oval. (This makes the handle.) I then used a My Craft Spot Fancy Edges metal die to cut the edges of my topper. Finally, I carefully folded the sides being careful not to fold the handle as I did not want a crease mark on it. To create the mat, I simply cut a half oval out of the top of some patterned paper and used the same My Craft Spot Fancy Edges metal die to cut the bottom trim.
I hope that helps - and that it makes sense!! Please let me know if you make one. I'd love to know how it turns out!!
