Playing with the Twinery

Hello! Going around 'Blogiland' last night, I came across with this challenge at The Twinery, as I love polka dots and twine, I decided to play along.
This card was really easy to make, I used sticker balloons, three colors of twine, Swiss dots  embossing folder and a scrap of SU design paper.
I like it, and it's sure to make one of my Little Kids from Sunday School smile.

Have a blessed rest of the week.

My cards for the Savery Family (happy mail for Grayson)

Hi everybody! I hope all of you  had a wonderful February. I'm back, we went on vacation the first week of this month, and then when we came back trying to catch up with everything I realized almost all month was gone.
Last month, I saw this post at Neat and Tangled, and immediately decided to make cards for Grayson, his older brother Aydan and his mom Jackie, I didn't have time to post before going on vacation, and then I got so busy that I forgot, until this morning that I was visiting Amy's blog and I saw her kindly reminder, so better late than never here are my cards.

They are on their way to the recipients, and I hope they bring a smile to them.
That's all for today, I'll be back soon.
Have a blessed rest of the week.

Another birthday card

Hi everybody!
I made another birthday card, this time is following the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. A very simple card for a young Lady  I went on a Mission trip with.

I like the sketch so much, that I made another one for my friend whose birthday is in February.

Have a blessed Sunday. Thanks for visiting.

Birthday card

Hi everybody!
I hope all of you are having a wonderful Saturday. It's sunny today in Huntsville, AL and as the sun always makes me happy I got up this morning ready to make a birthday card for my friend Amy. So this is my take on the sketch at Mojo Monday

I used one of the Fancy flourishes stamp, by Stampology and embossed it with TH's Distress embossing powder,  Fired Brick , cut the panel in half, adhered to a black mat, add 3 little brads and a flair that says 'live, laugh, love'. Quite 'clean', eh?
Thanks for your visit. Have a blessed weekend.

Simon Says Stamps Challenge.

Hello Everybody!
I saw this challenge at SSS, so I decided to play along on this cloudy Sunday in Alabama.
I'm determined to use most of my scraps, so I used eight strips of colored card stock for the background, black for the the main panel and white embellishments.
I have fun. Here is my card.
Thanks for visiting.

10 Embellishments

The Moxie Fab World blog have this challenge, to use 10 different embellishments. So I decided to make a Valentine's card, inspired by this card by Teri Anderson.

I used 10 hearts made of different materials, from left to right: a button (from Walmart) covered in glitter, a hand cut felt, another glittered button, a Tim Holtz's (from grunge Harlequin shapes) covered in Picked Raspberry distress ink, another TH's covered in baker's twine, another covered in sequins, a white glittered button, a  red velvet (hand cut from velvet ribbon) and the last one is a sticker from Recollections.
I had lots of fun making this, so I'm planning on playing along with more of their challenges.
Thanks! And have a blessed rest of the week.

Happy New Year and Challenges.

Hi everybody! I wish you all a healthy and happy 2013.
One of my goals for this year is to post at least once a week. I visit most of the blogs I follow everyday, but I'm no so good ad posting, so I decided this year I'll do better in my blog.
To start this week well I made a card and I decided to enter them in two challenges, the http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/2013/01/challenge-127-love-is-in-air.html and I used the colors in http://www.palspaperarts.com/.
Here is my card.
Have a blessed week.
